A city with a ski resort

CULTURE AND COUNTRYSIDE COMBINED
The snow-covered Nordkette rises up shining brightly

The winter deep blue skyline stretches above the beautiful city in the heart of the Alps

Innsbruck is one of the only metropolitan areas that can combine the benefits of a small city with the infrastructure of a ski resort. With the Hungerburg and Nordketten lifts you are carried straight up into the city’s own ski resort. The biggest ski resort within easy reach of Tyrol’s capital city is the Axamer Lizum, not quite 20 minutes away. As family friendly ski areas we recommend the Muttereralm Park and the Rangger Köpfl in Oberperfuß, these are also reachable within 20 minutes. In total there a 13 ski resorts in the region that are included on the “ski plus city pass Stubai Innsbruck” this not only covers the ski resorts but various museums, swimming pools, ski buses and the Innsbrucker sightseer, bring the guest to the places of interest in the city.
